South Kashmir Police Premier League organised by India’s Jammu and Kashmir Police concluded with a thrilling match between Anantnag Gladiator and Anantnag Super Kings in which the former team took home the trophy with an edge of four wickets.During the concluding ceremony in Anantnag district, J&K DGP, Dilbag Singh interacted with the players and distributed the trophies. The final cricket match of the Under 17 T-20 tournament came to an end with Bijbehara Sports defeating Achabal by 32 runs.The tournament was organised by District Youth Services Department of Indian Union Territory Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district.Organized at Tik Bagh Sports Stadium in Mattan town from September 2, the tournament saw 12 sports zones of the district compete with each other on knock out basis.The District Development Commissioner (DDC) of Anantnag, Kuldeep Krishen Sidha was the chief gust on the occasion. District level under 19 boys cricket competition which was inaugurated in the beginning of the month at Sports Stadium Nanil, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag concluded successfully.Around 304 players from 19 higher schools took part in the tourney.The final match was played between HSS Mattan and HSS Salia.HSS Salia won the toss and decided to bat. The team scored 150 runs in allotted 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets.Shaarik from Salia hit a brilliant knock of quick 76 runs and was adjudged as man of the match. In reply, HSS Mattan scored 103 runs for the loss of all wickets.Salik from HSS Salia was declared as the player of the tournament.The final match was played at Sports Stadium Nanil in which District Development Commissioner K.K Sidha was the chief guest and Ghulam Hassan Sheik
