## J&K: District level inter-school tournament concluded successfully ##

District level under 19 boys cricket competition which was inaugurated in the beginning of the month at Sports Stadium Nanil, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag concluded successfully.
Around 304 players from 19 higher schools took part in the tourney.
The final match was played between HSS Mattan and HSS Salia.
HSS Salia won the toss and decided to bat. The team scored 150 runs in allotted 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets.
Shaarik from Salia hit a brilliant knock of quick 76 runs and was adjudged as man of the match. In reply, HSS Mattan scored 103 runs for the loss of all wickets.
Salik from HSS Salia was declared as the player of the tournament.
The final match was played at Sports Stadium Nanil in which District Development Commissioner K.K Sidha was the chief guest and Ghulam Hassan Sheikh ADC Anantnag was the guest of honour.
ADC Anantnag distributed Cricket kits among the winner and runners up teams. DDC also announced for providing a cricket roller to Sports stadium Anantnag.
Among others who were present on the occasion were District Youth Services and Sports officer Anantnag Mushtaq Ahamad Pampori, members of the activity section DYSSO office and technical officials.
The event was organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Anantnag.
