J&K: Pulwama panchayats organizes Mahila, Bal Sabhas under B2V3

In the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, visiting officers and other designated government officials continued the public outreach programme in all panchayats across 11 community development (CD) blocks under the third phase of the ‘Back to Village’ programme.The officials also distributed sporting kits among school children, income and domicile certificates, handed over baby Kits to newly born girl children under ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ (BBBP) scheme and distributed sanction letters under ‘Ladli Beti’ scheme.At many places, officers also distributed wheelchairs, hearing aids, walking sticks among the persons with disabilities.‘Mahila’ (Women) and ‘Bal’ (children) sabhas were also organized across various panchayats of the district and awareness programmes r

J&K: Kupwara District Commissioner inaugurates Skill Institute

Under the much ambitious phase three of the ‘Back to Village’ (B2V3) running in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, District Development Commissioner (DDC) of Kupwara, Anshul Garg inaugurated a Skill Training Institute.The Institute provides multiple vocational training courses including fashion designing and plumber courses. It was informed that the first batch of 20 female trainees have completed the course of fashion designing.On the occasion, the DDC interacted with the female trainees who put forth several demands before him.
