President of Kyrgyzstan meets with China’s senior political adviser

Wang Huning, China’s senior political adviser, met with Sadyr Japarov, the president of Kyrgyzstan, on Friday in Beijing.

The two nations should act on the significant consensus reached by the two heads of state, firmly support one another, expand all-around cooperation, deepen security coordination, increase people-to-people exchanges, and enhance coordination and cooperation in regional and international affairs, according to Wang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

Wang said that the CPPCC national committee is prepared to collaborate with Kyrgyzstan to enhance interactions via all channels and at all levels and to help create a community between China and Kyrgyzstan with a shared future of friendly coexistence and shared prosperity.

According to Japarov, Kyrgyzstan places a high value on its connections with China and is eager to expand collaboration with China in a number of areas in order to take the two countries’ relations to a new level.

Japarov is in China on a state visit and the China-Central Asia Summit.
