‘Expressing our Amistad’, says Jaishankar as ‘Made in India’ COVID-19 vaccines reach Mexico

As over eight lakh made-in-India coronavirus vaccine reached Mexico, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Sunday took to Twitter to announce the news.“Expressing our Amistad. Mexico receives Made in India vaccines,” tweeted Jaishankar.On Saturday, Indian Ambassador Manpreet Vohra said that 870,000 Made-in-India vaccines will reach Mexico on Sunday morning. The doses were requested by Mexico.“To meet #Mexico’s special request to #India for additional doses, huge efforts made by Minister @DrSJaishankar to help quickly. Bangladesh starts COVID-19 vaccination drive with Indian-made vaccines

After receiving about seven million doses of India made covid-19 vaccine, Bangladesh on Sunday began its nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign.Health Minister Zahid Maleque rolled out the campaign at a virtual event at the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in Dhaka on Sunday morning.Maleque also urged all not to spread propaganda against the vaccine as it is safe and has no side effects. “The vaccine campaign will continue throughout the year. There is another process to get the jab other than online registration.
