Bahrain in support of India amid Covid-19.

MANAMA — The Cabinet of Bahrain expressed their support to India as the country witness the 2nd wave. Bahrain also extended their sincere condolences to the government and citizens of India following the deaths of COVID-19 patients.

In the weekly meeting held remotely and chaired by Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, who is also the country’s prime minister, the Cabinet decided on sending medical equipment and oxygen to India to support its fight against COVID-19.
The Cabinet also expressed its sincere condolences to the government and citizens of Iraq following the accidental fire that broke out at the Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad, which took the lives of 82 people. The Cabinet wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The Cabinet further expressed its sincere condolences to Indonesia following the death of the crew members of an Indonesian navy submarine that sank off the coast of Bali.

On the occasion of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, the Bahraini Cabinet stressed the importance of occupational health and safety across workplaces, noting national efforts aimed at protecting employees across various sectors against COVID-19.
